The Goal: Dual N-Back exercises your brain's working memory by asking you to track two independent signals (Grid Position and Spoken/Visual Letter) at the exact same time.
How a Round Works:
- Every 3 seconds, a square on the grid lights up AND a letter cue is played/shown.
- Your job is to remember what appeared N turns ago.
Examples:
- 1-Back: Press match if the current signal is identical to the very last turn (1 turn ago).
- 2-Back: Press match if the current signal is identical to what appeared 2 turns ago.
Controls:
- Tap Position Match (or press
A) if the grid square matches N turns ago.
- Tap Sound Match (or press
L) if the letter matches N turns ago.
- If both match, press both! If neither matches, simply wait for the next turn.
